Lindsey Williams leads the foundation’s efforts to expand and deepen partnerships that mobilize significant philanthropic resources for global health and development, while also strengthening the broader field of philanthropy, including the Giving Pledge. She joined the foundation in her current role in 2026.

Lindsey has more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy, higher education, and health sciences, with a record of building high-performing teams and structuring large-scale philanthropic partnerships. Most recently, she served as assistant vice chancellor for health sciences development at UCLA, where she oversaw development efforts for UCLA Health and the university’s health sciences schools. As part of UCLA’s Centennial Campaign, she helped lead one of the most ambitious development efforts ever undertaken by a public university, working closely with senior leadership, boards, and philanthropic partners to support major investments in health, research, and education.

Lindsey’s leadership is grounded in a deep belief in the power of philanthropy to accelerate global progress. She is known for aligning institutional priorities with partner ambitions to unlock transformative investments in health and development. She has a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Ohio State.
