Since January 2020, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed more than US$2 billion to the global COVID-19 response.
Our funding to address COVID-19

In the face of this unprecedented challenge, we added new funds and reallocated existing funds to slow the transmission of COVID-19, support the development and deployment of life-saving tools, strengthen regional response, and mitigate the damage for communities.
