Sri Mulyani Indrawati is one of Indonesia’s longest-serving and first female minister of finance, serving under three democratically elected presidents. Sri Mulyani led the country through major crises such as the global financial crisis and COVID-19 pandemic, while restoring fiscal discipline, achieving macroeconomic stability, restoring growth and reducing poverty - while elevating Indonesia’s sovereign credit rating to investment grade.

Sri Mulyani reformed and modernized the Ministry of Finance, strengthened public financial management–fighting corruption and building good governance and positioned Indonesia as a global leader in sustainable finance, including issuing the first sovereign Green Sukuk by an emerging economy.

Internationally, Sri Mulyani has held senior leadership roles at the World Bank and the IMF and has advanced global cooperation through ASEAN and the G20. Sri Mulyani has received numerous international honors, including Best Minister in the World and recognition on Forbes’ list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.
