Olivia Polius
Olivia Polius is the divisional chief financial officer for Global Policy & Advocacy, and U.S. Programs. She leads a team of business and financial professionals who provide financial and strategic planning and analytical support for each of the divisions, including conducting due diligence on foundation partners and charitable investments, and business and operational support to the divisions. This team works alongside our program staff and external partners to structure and manage our program investment portfolios.
Olivia joined the foundation at the end of 2020. Prior to joining the foundation, Olivia was head of finance for Bezos Academy, a newly formed nonprofit venture with a mission to expand access to high-quality, tuition-free preschools in underserved communities. Before that, from 2013 to 2019, Olivia served as the CFO and VP of Finance, Technology and Infrastructure for PATH, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating health equity through innovation and partnerships. At PATH, she led several initiatives to increase operational effectiveness, enable the use of next-generation finance technology, and improve planning and decision making.
Olivia holds her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and is a CPA in the state of Washington.
