Meetu Kapur leads the Nutrition portfolio within the Global Growth and Opportunity Division. Her team works to leverage the full potential of large-scale food fortification to address vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2024, Meetu worked with the Confederation of Indian Industry, where she established the Food and Agriculture Center of Excellence—focused on strengthening India’s agriculture and food processing sector through innovation, evidence-based policy formulation, and capacity building. She has also served as Member of India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority. Meetu brings more than 25 years of experience across the development and private sector with expertise in providing support to governments and leveraging public policy, public-private partnerships, and market-based interventions towards sustainable food systems and public health impact.

Meetu holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School and MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
