Lekha Davé

Deputy Director, Strategy, Planning, and Management

Lekha Davé oversees strategy and business operations for the Women's Economic Empowerment team.

Lekha previously served as a strategic advisor to philanthropic, government, multilateral, and corporate organizations as a strategy consultant at McKinsey and Accenture. In that role, she helped build public-private partnerships and strategic initiatives focused on economic development at the local, national, and global levels. Earlier, Lekha supported strategy and financial operations at the Obama Foundation in Chicago and advised social enterprises on their business plans at REDF, a venture philanthropy based in San Francisco. She started her career researching microfinance and women’s socioeconomic mobility in low-income urban communities in south India.

Lekha has a B.A. in public policy from Duke University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
