Deputy Director, Communications, China Country Office

Dina Yang leads the development and execution of communications strategies that help manage the foundation’s reputation and advance its program and advocacy goals in China. She joined the foundation in 2014, bringing more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications.

Dina began her career as a reporter for China Radio International and later joined Edelman China, where she advised multinational clients on corporate reputation issues. She went on to serve as the public relations director at Ericsson China, where she helped start the company’s digital media team and industry analyst practice. Before joining the foundation, she worked as the director of brand and communications for Deloitte China, where she led an in-house team of 20 professionals responsible for media relations, marketing communications, internal communications, branding, corporate social responsibility, and market research.

Dina has a B.A. in Oriental studies from Peking University and an M.S. in speech communication from Southern Illinois University.
