Allison Houston
Allison Houston leads foundation-wide strategies to strengthen how leaders communicate, employees stay informed, and teams remain aligned in service to the foundation’s mission.
Allison has more than 25 years of global experience in internal communications, executive messaging, and organizational storytelling. She is a recognized leader in designing modern communications systems that enhance employee engagement, improve organizational alignment, and lead to measurable impact. Throughout her career, she has specialized in advising senior executives, shaping enterprise narratives, and building high-performing communications teams.
Before joining the foundation, Allison was with Accenture, where she held a series of senior global internal communications leadership roles. Most recently, she served as global communications director for audience, channels, and experience, leading a large, distributed team and advancing the organization’s use of audience targeting, generative artificial intelligence, and intelligent automation.
Across her tenure at the company, Allison built deep expertise in emerging communications channels while also pioneering new approaches to segmentation, analytics, and employee listening. She is widely recognized for introducing innovative, data-driven methods to deliver targeted, relevant communications that cut through complexity and improve the employee experience.
Allison is known for her strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style. She is deeply committed to advancing internal communications as a critical driver of organizational effectiveness—ensuring that employees not only understand priorities but also feel connected to the mission and empowered to contribute to impact.
Allison has a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
