Purpose
to support the 9th African Immunology Conference focused on human and clinical immunology to showcase how immunology as a medical discipline is helping to resolve long-standing health challenges posed by infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV, TB and neglected tropical diseases and how it can also provide the impetus to confront the increasing challenges of non-communicable diseases in Africa such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes
