Purpose
To rapidly reorient national malaria programs towards elimination in Mesoamerica and Hispaniola by providing direct, targeted technical support to governments and actively preparing the region for sustainable elimination by 2020. A supplement investment also seeks to inform the establishment of a high level political advocacy platform to ensure the appropriate level of domestic financing is secured within the region to fund the overall effort.
