Anja Langenbucher
Anja Langenbucher oversees the foundation’s policy, advocacy, government relations, and communications activities in Europe. Based in the Berlin office, she and her team build strategic relationships with European governments, civil society institutions, media, and other partners.
Before joining the foundation in 2018, Anja worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in a range of roles, including managing the bank’s technical assistance program and serving as a transaction leader on the agribusiness team, leading both debt and equity transactions. Earlier, Anja worked at the International Finance Corporation / World Bank in Washington, D.C., and for the European Commission in Brussels. She began her career at the Boston Consulting Group in Munich.
Anja is a German national and has both a doctorate and a master’s degree in economics.
