Purpose
to provide more rational and adaptive trial designs for future PrEP development to reduce the risk of study failure (Type III process failure) due to poor adherence and other influential outcome variables. Related to this, the project will provide readily available decision management tools for clinicians to engage more rationally in discussion of HIV risk and dosing scenarios appropriate to that risk in the absence of RCT data. Both of these will provide key tools in the development and implementation or HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis to reduce the burden of HIV infection through prevention
