Milanof-Schock Named 2006 Best Small Library in America – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

From a field of over 50 nominations nationwide, the Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, has been selected by Library Journal for the annual Best Small Library in America Award. Co-sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the award was founded to encourage and showcase exemplary work of libraries serving populations under 25,000. Library Journal editors and a panel of library leaders selected the Milanof-Schock Library for its tremendous commitment to its community, and its ever-expanding services.
