Mariana Preciado is K-12 Strategy Deputy Director of Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Mariana leads the K-12 Strategy Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation team, whose goal is to encourage and enable consistency in the quality of the K-12 Education Strategy’s equity-centered measurement, learning, and evaluation work. Prior to joining BMGF, Mariana was the founding Director of Research & Evaluation at CollegeSpring, a college access nonprofit. Mariana received her B.A. in Psychology from Yale University, and her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from UCLA.
