Lisa Ramon

Interim Deputy Director, Strategy, Planning, and Management

Lisa Ramon leads strategic planning, financial management, and business operations for the Digital Public Infrastructure team. In that role, she draws on a mix of strategic and operational experience from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.

Before joining the foundation in 2020, Lisa served as the director of global health for Pro Mujer, where she led the development of the organization’s new health strategy and oversaw operations across five countries. Earlier, she led the Healthcare Planning Unit at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS)—the largest public health care payor and provider in Mexico—where she managed strategic planning and health informatics. Lisa began her career as a management consultant and health systems expert at McKinsey & Co.

Lisa has an MBA, with a focus on health care management, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She also has a BSE in bioengineering from Penn.
