Andrew Dunckelman oversees the foundation’s efforts to strengthen the philanthropic sector’s capacity to direct more money to global health and development. His team also leads the marketing, communications, and data functions that support the Philanthropic Partnerships team’s work.
Before joining the foundation in 2023, Andrew spent several years at Google.org, the philanthropic arm of Google, where he led initiatives to harness the power of technology for social impact and served on the leadership team. He previously worked at The Bridgespan Group, a consultancy focused on serving nonprofits and foundations.
Andrew serves on the board of Charity Navigator, which offers information and resources to guide charitable giving. Born and raised in south Louisiana, Andrew has a B.A. from Louisiana State University, an MPA from Indiana University, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard.
