PRI Awarded Major Grant by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

MINNEAPOLIS -- Public Radio International (PRI) announces that it has been awarded a major three-year grant for its Global Development Initiative by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The grant will enable PRI's The World — the award-winning global news program designed to help American listeners understand, debate, and shape the U.S. role in the world — to enhance its coverage of global health and related issues throughout the developing world, including Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
