Vaccine-Preventable Diseases

Vaccines
Preventing Disease, Saving Lives
Vaccines save lives. Too often, though, they are unavailable to the world’s poorest children.

Through its support of the GAVI Alliance, the foundation has invested more than $1.5 billion to increase the number of children in developing countries who receive recommended immunizations, encourage the adoption of vaccines that are underused, speed up the introduction of new vaccines, and secure funding for childhood immunization.
