Trevor Mundel

Trevor Mundel leads the foundation’s efforts to develop high-impact interventions against the leading causes of death and disability in developing countries.

Emilio Emini

Emilio A. Emini, Ph.D. leads the team focused on accelerating the reduction in the incidence of HIV infection, in high-burden geographies/populations of Southern and Eastern Africa.

Dan Hartman

Dr. Dan Hartman, director, Integrated Development, leads a team that provides technical expertise in drug and diagnostic development.

Toni Hoover

Dr. Toni Hoover works on strategic planning and organizational development to advance the foundation’s principles.

Chris Karp

Chris Karp leads the team whose mission is to catalyze innovation for the discovery and translation of transformative solutions to global health and development inequity and is also a co-director of the MNCH D&T program.

Keith Klugman

Keith Klugman leads the foundation’s work to reduce child deaths from pneumonia, neonatal sepsis, and meningitis, and is a co-director of the Maternal, Newborn & Child Health Discovery & Tools program.

Tracia Luh

Tracia Luh leads the team that provides financial and strategic planning and analytical support across the foundation's work in global health.

Dr. Andrin Oswald is the director of Life Sciences Partnerships, overseeing the foundation’s engagements with corporations.

Katey Einterz Owen

Dr. Katey Einterz Owen has end-to-end responsibility for the investment portfolio in controlling, eliminating, and eradicating the diseases of the London Declaration.

Dan Wattendorf

Dan Wattendorf leads efforts to identify and create biotechnology platforms that result in new options for global health.

Philip Welkhoff

Philip Welkhoff, director, leads the foundation’s strategy to eradicate malaria.

Anita Zaidi

Anita Zaidi is the director of the Vaccine Development, Surveillance, and Enteric and Diarrheal Diseases programs and is a co-director of the Maternal, Newborn & Child Health Discovery & Tools program.

Jennifer Weisman

Jennifer Weisman serves as an extension of the president, Global Health and drives the prioritization, communication, and execution of Global Health objectives.

Scientific Advisory Committee

Our Global Health Program advisory committee comprises a group of esteemed experts from outside of the foundation who offer a wide range of experiences and perspectives. This group plays an important role in strengthening our work by offering independent assessments of our strategies and helping us evaluate results.
