Merran Kubalak, director of Strategy, Planning and Management and chief of staff to the CIO, is responsible for driving the overarching Information Technology strategy; the consistency of delivery through the IT Project Management Office; and IT’s continuous improvement and efficiency efforts across the team’s business capabilities and processes. She partners with foundation leaders to align technology capabilities to the evolving needs of the foundation.
Prior to joining the foundation in 2006, she was a consultant in Seattle and New York, solving complex business challenges through effective use of technology. She firmly believes that digital technology is a key lever to solving the world’s most critical problems.
Merran also worked in the film and art industries and holds a B.S. in Theatre Direction from Radford University.
