Liz leads the foundation’s health portfolio of investments and programming in India, which spans MNCH, Family Planning, Nutrition, Vaccine Delivery, TB, Neglected Tropical Diseases, Health Systems Strengthening, Digital, and Behavior Change. Previously, Liz was based in Seattle as CFO of the foundation’s Global Health Division, leading strategic and financial planning across our Global Health disease areas and leading a team of business professionals structuring our charitable investments.
Before joining the foundation in 2010, Liz was a principal at Bain & Company, where she specialized in corporate transformation, advising multi-national clients in the US and Europe on strategy, operations, organization, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to Bain, Liz focused on private sector development in Russia and the former USSR. At the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Liz led the technical assistance and advisory services team for Financial Markets across the former USSR.
Liz holds an MBA in Finance from Wharton Business School, an M.A. in Russian Area Studies and International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University.
