Amy Pollack, MD, MPH, is the director of the Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) program strategy team and oversees MNCH, Nutrition and Family Planning.
Prior to joining the foundation, Amy served as the corporate chief safety officer at Medtronic and set the strategy and policy for medical safety across the company’s global business groups.
Amy has over 25 years of experience in domestic and international health care, including work in clinical practice; as the CEO of an international women’s health non-profit; and as an executive in early-stage medical device businesses, social venture capital, and industry. She has led global health multilateral negotiations for disruptive technologies and national working groups to drive policy change at the national and global levels in areas including reproductive and maternal health innovations introduction, emerging diagnostics, and service delivery models in low- and middle-income countries.
Amy is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Preventive Medicine.
