Brian Siems is responsible for leading the strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the Family Planning program area including oversight of strategic planning, annual planning and budgeting, ongoing pipeline and portfolio management, business analysis, and the coordination of business strategies across the foundation.
Prior to his role as deputy director, Brian was the portfolio manager/program manager for the Family Health strategy (Maternal, Neonatal, & Child Health, Family Planning, and Nutrition), supporting the internal business operations, cross-team strategic planning, ongoing portfolio management, and other internal projects.
Before joining the foundation in July 2010, Brian worked as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and Value Prism Consulting, providing strategic analysis and business process reengineering support to both public and private sector organizations. He has a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
