September 23, 2013 –The attacks at Nairobi’s Westgate Mall are unconscionable. Our thoughts are with the families of all the victims of this senseless crime. This tragedy is particularly close to the hearts of those at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as two people working for partners of ours in Kenya have been confirmed as victims of the attacks.
