Dale Christian, chief information officer, leads the Information Technology team, which plans and deploys applications in support of the foundation’s work.
Christian serves as the foundation’s chief technology strategist, responsible for identifying and assessing tools and solutions to enhance the organization’s near- and long-term performance and for developing scalable and flexible systems that can support future foundation program areas.
Before joining the foundation, Christian served as chief information officer of Avanade, a global provider of Microsoft-based technology consulting services. His experience includes more than 14 years at Microsoft, where he held a variety of IT leadership positions, including general manager of application development for IT and Managed Solutions. Before Microsoft, Christian spent 7 years at Andersen Consulting delivering solutions in the high-tech, manufacturing, and service industries.
Christian has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington.
