"It's Time to Fix Our Schools": Helping New York City's High Schools Succeed

This video shows how New York City turned its small high schools into big successes with the help of three foundations, an eager city government, and innovative educators. Teachers, students, and leaders within the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's High Schools and Postsecondary Education initiatives recount how hard work paid off: Nearly 50 small high schools opened, students became more engaged in learning, and graduation rates doubled.
