The Associated Press and Univision Communications Launch Sweeping Study of the Opinions and Experiences of Hispanics in the United States

The Nielsen Company and Stanford University to conduct research and analysis

NEW YORK--The Associated Press (AP), the largest and most trusted source of independent news and information, and Univision Communications, Inc., the premier Spanish-language media company in the United States, announced today their collaboration to explore the opinions and experiences of Hispanics in the United States. The project involves a comprehensive national public opinion survey of 2,000 Hispanics on a wide-ranging set of topics, including matters of culture and identity, political attitudes, demographic trends, and patterns of media use. The findings will be released in May.
