Living and Working in Seattle

The Seattle area is one of the best places in the nation to live and work. It’s a beautiful region with a diverse and invigorating community. The arts, medicine, education, philanthropy, technology, and popular culture all thrive here. One of Seattle’s biggest attractions is its easy access to outdoor pursuits, from skiing, climbing, and hiking to boating, camping, and cycling. There's a lot going on in the city, too. Seattle is home to internationally known opera, ballet, and theater companies; thriving film and music scenes; exciting art galleries and restaurants; and professional sports teams with enthusiastic fans.

Seattle is a great place to settle. It’s a city of vibrant neighborhoods, each with a distinct personality. And Seattle offers many housing options—from family homes on quiet, tree-lined streets to urban high-rise apartments next to busy restaurants and nightclubs to townhomes within walking distance of our new Seattle Center campus, scheduled to open in late 2010.
