PATH needed to expand its facilities to accommodate growth. Given the worldwide increase in global health investments PATH needed to double its staff. The market in 2009 was such that it was difficult for credit-worthy organizations to secure capital that banks at any other time would offer.
Support Seattle’s Global Health community. This addressed an acute need that would otherwise be addressed through normal market dynamics and consequently is not core to program strategy under normal circumstances.

Non-profit organization that uses technology and innovation to transform global health with a presence in 70+ countries and works in infectious diseases like HIV, TB and malaria, focusing on health and vaccines for women and children.
