Lisa Ramon

Deputy Director, Strategy, Planning, and Management, Primary Health Care

Lisa Ramon oversees strategy, planning, and operations for the Primary Health Care team.

Before joining the foundation in 2020, Lisa served in a variety of strategic and operational roles across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, focusing on health systems strengthening and digital health. She was the director of global health for Pro Mujer, where she led the development of the organization’s new health strategy and oversaw operations across five countries. Earlier, she led the Healthcare Planning Unit for the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), where she was responsible for managing strategic planning and health informatics for the largest public health care payor and provider in Mexico. Before joining IMSS, Lisa was a management consultant and health systems expert at McKinsey & Co.

Lisa has an MBA with a focus on health care management from the Wharton School and a B.S.E. in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
