The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center and StoryCorps have come together to spark inspiration by sharing stories of making a difference. New local stories of inspiration will be added each month through March. Listen to our full catalog of stories at the Visitor Center or online. Share your inspiration to make a difference on our Share Your Cause Tree at the Visitor Center or online via the hashtag #InspirationStory.

What food brings your family together? Join us for the FREE Family Day: Food for Good on Saturday, April 5th. Discover how to grow, prepare, and enjoy healthy foods from around the world through fun activities, music and storytelling.  Community organizations will demonstrate how food gets from the farm to the table locally and globally. Learn how kids of all ages can make a difference through fun and exciting volunteer programs.

Join us for Innovations in Global Health, part of Museum Week 2014. Discover how the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and its partners are harnessing innovations in science and technology to save lives, reduce poverty, and give every person the chance to live a healthy and productive life.

Staff will showcase innovations that are being used to solve global challenges – from water filters and coolers, to prototype toilets. During your visit, ignite the innovator within by creating your own solutions in our Innovation Gallery.
