Dr. Toni Hoover works closely with the GH Program President and leadership team on strategic planning and organizational development, including how we work with staff and grantees to advance the foundation’s guiding principles. She sets and manages operational priorities to support the Global Health Program strategies, collaborating with the Finance, Impact Planning and Improvement, Legal, Information Technology, and Human Resources groups. She also oversees the Global Health Program grants management team and the foundation’s Global Health Fellows program.
Before joining the foundation in 2012, Hoover was Senior Vice President at Pfizer Worldwide Research and Development, overseeing the company’s largest R&D laboratories in Groton, Connecticut. She serves on several not-for-profit boards, including the New York Academy of Sciences, Xavier University of Louisiana and the Founder’s Affiliate of the American Heart Association.
Hoover received her Bachelor of Arts, Masters and Doctorate in Psychology and Social Relations from Harvard University.
