Becky Frank, deputy director, Strategy Planning & Management for the Enteric & Diarrheal Disease (EDD) and Pneumonia teams, is responsible for the team’s strategy and business operations. She oversees the business teams who are responsible for supporting the execution of key investments in EDD and Pneumonia.
Becky joined the foundation in 2013 after 10 years with McKesson Corporation, a leading U.S. healthcare services company, where she was most recently vice president, Corporate Strategy & Business Development. She spent five years leading Strategy and Business Development for McKesson Specialty Health, one of McKesson's fastest growing business units, providing an integrated set of services to community-based specialist physicians.
Becky started her career as a teaching intern in Lima, Peru, where she taught Biology and English and travelled extensively around Peru and Ecuador. Upon her return, she worked in San Francisco as a management consultant with a focus on supporting U.S. based organizations in developing international market entry plans. Her project work took her to Australia, Mexico, Poland, Spain, and the UK. Becky returned to school to pursue a MBA/MPH graduate degree at UC Berkeley. She grew up in Burlington, Vermont, and completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Anthropology at Harvard.
