Investing in Children: Success in School and Life
In the foundation's home state of Washington, more than half our children enter kindergarten without the skills they need to succeed in school.

Research shows that we can close this gap in school-readiness with high-quality early learning for children and support and education for parents.

With public and private partners—including Thrive by Five: The Washington Early Learning Fund—we are working to ensure that children in our state have the greatest chance at success in school and life.
