First Place Technology Grant

Funds will be used to purchase computer, networking and Internet connectivity equipment for First Place, a private, nonprofit school and social service agency devoted to helping children and families who are homeless or in transition.

Boys and Girls Clubs of King County

Techmobile

$60,000 (over 12 months)

In support of the Boys and Girls Club Techmobile project, a mobile computer lab designed to offer countywide opportunities and skills in computer education, access to the Internet and work readiness. Outreach is targeted to King County youth who are low-income, members of minority communities and/or limited English speakers.
