Anna and Gibaldi get one-on-one attention from Amber during therapeutic playtime at the Little Red Schoolhouse, Lynnwood, WA Students in public elementary and middle schools participate in after-school chess competitions, thanks to the Chess Mates Foundation. Chess clubs are run by parent volunteers and instructors who use chess as a tool to help young children learn how to think critically and creatively.
