Ensuring the Internet Is a Resource for All
The foundation's U.S. Libraries initiative began with one goal—ensuring that if you can get to a public library, you can access the Internet to learn, explore opportunities, and enrich your life.
Ten years later, nearly every library in the nation offers free use of computers and the Internet. The challenge now is for public libraries—particularly in low-income communities—to stay connected and meet the growing needs of patrons.
We help libraries across the U.S. to ensure quality technology services are available for the millions who count on them for their only access to computers and the Internet.
