Finding Solutions to Diseases
A number of other health problems disproportionately affect developing countries but represent a lesser overall burden than the foundation’s specific priority diseases.

The foundation provides targeted financial contributions that could have a major impact on:

  • Sexually-transmitted infections
  • Infections of multicellular organisms that include worms
  • Infections of single-cell parasites transmitted by insects
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Other diseases, including meningitis, dengue, and Japanese encephalitis
